A note from the Pastor
I am so glad you have visited us online!
In 2011, I started Awaken for someone just like you! Someone who was on a journey of discovering the divine presence in all of life. You know there’s more happening here than what you can visibly see in front of you and you have a desire to chase that feeling. You also desire to live a life that is deeply connected. To God, others, and yourself. You desire a life of wholeness and learning to walk in healthy rhythms that produce life within your soul.
At Awaken, we believe the teachings of Jesus help us walk this journey. This is why our vision is to create followers of Jesus. Not only is Jesus the true representation of the divine, we also believe Jesus models the path of our truest humanity. Learning to walk that path and live in the truth of Jesus’s teachings is what we are all about. We hope you will join us for the journey!

Dave Stradling is our Lead Pastor who began Awaken in 2011. After graduating from Alliance Theological Seminary, Dave wanted to start a church that met everyone exactly where they were, in whatever story or experience they found themselves living. He has lived in Westchester County his entire life and desires to see the good news of Jesus bring healing and grace to this area and beyond.
Dave is joined in this pursuit with his wife, Stephanie, and their two children.
