At Awaken, church is more than a Sunday service—it’s a community. Our small groups are where real connection happens, where friendships grow, faith is nurtured, and everyone is welcomed just as they are. We gather for Community Group on select Wednesdays each month, host prayer calls on select Wednesday mornings, and create meaningful spaces through women’s lunches, Bible studies, and seasonal gatherings like our Christmas cookie swap and shared holiday meals. Beyond our walls, we live out our faith through community outreach events such as Stuff-a-Shirt and volunteering with Harlem Grown, serving our neighbors with love and purpose. With many more gatherings and opportunities on the horizon, Awaken is a place to belong, to be known, and to grow—together.
