I am so glad you have visited us online! At Awaken, we believe the teachings of Jesus help us walk this journey. This is why our vision is to create followers of Jesus. Not only is Jesus the true representation of the divine, we also believe Jesus models the path of our truest humanity. Learning to walk that path and live in the truth of Jesus’s teachings is what we are all about. We hope you will join us for the journey!

Meet Our Team
Dave Stradling
Lead Pastor
Dave Stradling is our Lead Pastor who began Awaken in 2011. After graduating from Alliance Theological Seminary, Dave wanted to start a church that met everyone exactly where they were, in whatever story or experience they found themselves living. He has lived in Westchester County his entire life and desires to see the good news of Jesus bring healing and grace to this area and beyond.
Dave is joined in this pursuit with his wife, Stephanie, and their two children.
Lois Rubicco
Children’s Ministry Director
Lois is excited to head up our Awaken Kids programs. Thank you for entrusting your children to us. After sharing a join time of worship time with eh whole church, the kids are then dismissed to their own theatre for Bible time and crafts. Our main goal isteaching your kids what it looks like to follow Jesus with their lives. Currently, we have programing for kids up through 5th grade.
Elle Prado
Worship Director
Elle heads up our worship team at Awaken. The songs that we sing on a Sunday morning are a blend of contemporary praise songs. You might recognize many of the songs on contemporary Christian radio stations.
Elle is an actor/ performer based in NYC and loves to share the joy of music! She attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC and The New School for Musical Theater and Screenwriting. Elle works in TV and Film, performs original music around the city, and teaches music and theater. She’s so happy to be a part of the Awaken family and hopes to see you at service on Sunday.
